The orange, the golden fruit of the Mediterranean and the other kinds of fruit are one of the most important and "tastiest" sources of Vitamins.
More specifically, red juice of the sanguine and moro orange varieties has the highest Vitamin C content and is found in every healthy diet program.
Citrus fruit is very important in our diet because while it is very rich in vitamins and minerals necessary to our organism, it has very few calories.
Also, in a lot of studies it is reported that the citrus fruits of organic agriculture contain bigger content in vitamin C, and smaller content in water.

Method of organic cultivation
|
At the process of organic production of citrus fruits are applied the following practices:
- prevention of illnesses, with the use of durable varieties, the choice exempted from pathogenic saplings and the suitable choice of grounds
- guarantee of essential conditions with the realization of careful interventions aiming at the guarantee of balance between beneficial and the damaging for the cultures of organisms
- use of soft means of plant health protection, mainly drug of plant origin
- the mechanic and oganic fighting of weeds, with carving or with the use of their natural enemies, as mushrooms, bacteria and insects
- the right nutrition of trees, depending on their needs and the fertility of soil, is achieved with combination of green fertilization, organic fertilizers, compost and small quantities of mining fertilizers.
- the suitable lopping aiming at the maintenance of fruitful vegetation.

The fruits are harvested by hand, are placed carefully in specifically crates and are transported immediately in the space of packing. There are chosen, are standardized and packed in specifically crates or cartons. Immediately afterwards their packing they are stored in suitable cooling booths up to their loading. Thus is ensured the maintenance of fruits in good situation from side of quality.
Our organization produces bigger quantities of Biological Citrus fruits in Greece, with expected production in 2003-2004 bigger than 4.000.000 kilos.
